I am looking to buy direct from the owner 3,500 to 4,000 Annual Marriott Destination Points. I would like an anniversary date (expiration date) between 2/28 and 10/31. The December 31 points are not as flexible.

Marriott has raised the cost to the buyer to $3 per point transfer fee, $190 registration fee, and $500 closing cost. I will pay all these fees. The only way you escape lifetime maintenance fees for points you are not able to use is to get a signed contract. I have purchased points from unfortunate owners who have spouses with dementia , parkinson's, or , just not able to pay the annual fees. At least by selling direct to me you will increase your net proceeds.
