If you are looking for a laid back, casual beach vacation for the entire family with a ton of activities both at the resort or near by in the Town of Duck, look no further than Barrier Island Station.
Enjoy a game of beach volleyball, shuffle board, or tennis; swim or sunbath by the seaside pool or take your beach chairs and stake a claim on the wide lifeguard supervised beach for the day. Small children will enjoy the wadding pool and playground.
At Barrier Island there are several buildings and the unit layouts differ from building to building, but all come with 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, full kitchen, dining room, living room and outside deck with eating area. There is a sofa bed in the living room and a loft area with a 2nd sofa bed. Please note because of the hilly terrain and the design of the buildings there are number of stairs to climb to reach your unit and most units have inside stairs as well ( no elevators)
