We have used Virginia Beach Beach Quarters unit 514 free of charge every year for the past 15 years because we have rented the lock-off 513 room.which has paid for our maintenance fee each year. The other great feature has been the ease of unloading and parking at the resort. Parking is included on the 5th floor of the garage parking deck right outside the doors leading to the rooms. We never have had to unload at the lobby and never have had to haul clothes and gear through hallways and up elevators. In fact, we use our car as a locker to keep some beach gear, etc. handy. These two features really make owning these lock-off rooms an attractive deal and a pleasant stay. There is also the option to not rent one side of the lockoff if an owner would prefer to take a large family and utilize both units.

Beach Quarters is located on the south end of the 3-mile beachfront Virginia Beach Boardwalk with fantastic Oceanfront views of the Boardwalk, Beach, and Atlantic Ocean from the unit and balcony. It is also near the 7th Street Gazebo between Chix and Mahi's restaurants where live bands regularly entertain.

There is an Oceanfront rooftop swimming pool on the 7th floor. Guests also have access to a well-equipped Fitness Center on the fifth floor, a rooftop Tennis / Pickle-ball Court off the 6th floor, and a children's Activity Center.

Unit 514 is a corner unit at one end of the building, so there is privacy on that side. It has a Kitchen area with full size refrigerator, stove top with 4 cooking burners and an oven, a dishwasher, a microwave, a coffee maker, and a full set of fishes and utensils. The Living Room area includes a Queen Sleeper Sofa with matching chair, and dining table with side chairs. The spacious separate bedroom has 2 full size beds. Flat screen TVs are located on dressers in both the living room and the bedroom. And of course, there is direct oceanfront balcony to enjoy with your coffee in the morning or beverage of choice in the evenings.

Week 23 is an incredible week to be at the Virginia Beach. The weather has always been warm and the environs are not overly crowded. There is an abundance of nearby attractions and fantastic restaurants, including Waterman's, Chix, Mahi's, The Ice House, Calypso, Sunnyside. Rudee's, Big Sam's, and Rockafeller's. It is also one of the best beaches to walk the boardwalk and ride bikes on the bike path between the boardwalk and the hotels. There are also several bike trails that are fantastic which lead out from the beach going inland.

Beach Quarters resort maintenance fees include membership in Destination Exchange trading program. If there is a year owners or their guests would rather visit other resorts, trading is available through the exchange program. We also have a membership in Interval International trading group; however, we love Virginia Beach so much that we have never traded through either program.
