Causeway on Gull is a Northwoods family resort situated on one of Minnesota’s most beautiful chain of
lakes – the Gull Lake chain. Near Brainerd, MN, it is located 2.5 hours north of the Twin Cities in the
town of Lake Shore. Causeway is set up under a timeshare structure, so each of the 58 cabins are
divided into 52 weeks, with each week owned by different families. The property is managed by Capital
Vacations, and governed by an Association that is similar to a home-owners association. The annual
dues (“maintenance fees”) are $895 for 2026, which covers repairs and maintenance to your cabin and
the common areas of the resort, as well as cleaning at the end of each week after your 7-night stay.
Each fully furnished cabin sleeps 8 (but there is room for more on air mattresses or camping cots!) and
has a Fully stocked kitchen with everything you need for making and serving meals, a gas fireplace, a gas
grill on the deck, two parking spots, a free boat slip on Gull Lake during your week, and access to the
resort’s common areas with tons of resort amenities at Causeway on Gull Resort. There is Great fishing
on Gull Lake both winter and summer!
Check in is 4 pm on your arrival date (1/2 the units have a Friday-Friday schedule, and 1/2 the units have a
Saturday-Saturday schedule). Check out is 10 am on your departure date.

- Free boat slip. Pontoon, boat, paddleboard, jet ski rentals available on-site.
- Free movies, board games, puzzles and books to borrow from rec center
- Free use of indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs, sauna in the outdoor pool building
- Free pickleball, basketball, shuffleboard, bags, yard games, campfire site by the lake
- Free onsite laundry either in your cabin or at the outdoor pool cabana
- Ping pong, pool table and arcade games in the rec center
- WiFi is currently being installed in all cabins as of Nov 2025
- next door to Zorbaz restaurant featuring live music
- near bike trails, hiking, golf courses, restaurants, Paul Bunyanland, go-karts, mini golf, zipline, escape
room - so many entertainment options in the area!!
As an owner, you are allowed to rent out your cabin, or let family/friends use it during your week. We
have a very active owner network/community who are committed to ensuring that the property
continually improves and that owners can enjoy a well-maintained resort for years to come!
Note: Some cabins have several stairs leading down to the main entry. If accessibility is a concern for
you, please ask about your specific cabin number.
