French Quarter-New Orleans

I have owned my timeshare at Chateau Orleans for 41 years and have used it almost every year, trading or renting it out on a few occasions. It is not luxurious but it is comfortable. Major renovations were completed in the last few years and most of the rooms have new furniture. There is a very nice pool and patio area and the same management company has done a great job of managing the property all those years. The big plus is convenience, since you can walk to anywhere in the French Quarter from this location. You can walk to Riverwalk Mall at the foot of Canal Street, the aquarium, the French market, gambling casinos, etc. as well as numerous restaurants. You are two blocks from Canal St. (and street cars), two blocks from Bourbon St. and three blocks from Royal St. where all the antique stores and galleries are. It is a short ride to the New Orleans Museum of Art, the zoo and to the D- Day Museum. Convenient deck parking is one block away. My week is 27 (July 2-9, 2027) but I have had no problems in the past arranging for different weeks and/or larger units within the resort at any time that you require. If your unit for exchange is pet friendly, that's a plus.
