In early November, the Alaskan Humpback Whales begin to show up in Hawaii, where the 3 ocean channels which converge directly in front of HVC Kaanapali are the most popular destination for the Whales to give birth, due to the warmer water and lack of large predators like orcas or great white sharks.

Week 49 between Thanksgiving and Christmas is a less crowded Maui, but with the island and especially Kaanapali is decorated for Christmas, so you enjoy all the splendor of Christmas at a bargain purchase price vs. week 51 Christmas week. This 3BR is a great option for 2 or 3 couples without kids. 2026 MFs have been paid, but you get 2026 ownership rights to use personally or rent, so your effective purchase price is $12,250.
