It also includes limited access to the pool, tennis courts and the golf courses of the adjacent JW Marriott hotel located on the same property. Free shuttle bus service is provided between various sections of Desert Springs Villas as well as to and from the hotel.

You won't want to miss the huge lobby at the JW Marriott hotel next door. It is something to see with Its great bar for evening enjoyment PLUS its vast stretch of water that starts near the bar with boats that ferry you from the lobby to the hotel's restaurants and shops.

DSV guests have limited privileges at the hotel's huge pool, tennis courts and the two 18-hole golf courses.

PLEASE NOTE: This listing has a 4-night minimum occupancy for the 4 nights of Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Those 4 nights rent out for $494 per night.

However, the last 3 nights of that week - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are available at $88 each in case you wish to extend your stay for a little longer. You can buy just one of those nights or two or all three. No minimums for those 3 nights.

The 1-bedroom unit is large with a king-size bed, has its own TV, 2-room bathroom with a shower, sink, cabinet and toilet in one room while the other room opens out into the bedroom and has a sink, cabinet and whirlpool tub. The living room is nice-sized with a large TV, fireplace and a queen-size pull-out bed. It has a full kitchen with a stove and oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and a large refrigerator, and, of course, utensils, dishes, and all the kitchenware you would expect. And it has a nice-sized dining area that seats 5 or 6 people. And remember, there are outside BBQs everywhere. The suite also comes with a washer/dryer.

There is a nice, long deck for 2nd-story units or a long, covered patio for 1st-floor units with the patio or deck extending from the bedroom to the living room and being accessible from both.

There's a major brand supermarket located just up the block from the entrance to the resort. It has a seating area because it also serves food to eat on the spot.

Lastly, Desert Springs Villas is a short, under 10-minute drive to downtown Palm Desert with its many restaurants and chic shops. Many places have nightime dancing. It is a 20 -25 minute drive down the famous Highway 111 to Palm Springs. Then another 20-minute drive to the Casino in Cabazon located next to a large outlet mall.
