The resort has 7 separate pools and jacuzzis available to it, 2 fitness centers, convenience store, even facilities for kids. In addition, DSV guests have limited privileges at the pool, tennis courts and the 2 golf courses located on the adjacent JW Marriott hotel on the same 400-acre property with its many restaurants, shops and lively bar scene and its gondolas that ferry you on the inside-outside lake starting right at the hotel lobby. You don't want to miss that.

Free shuttle bus service is provided between various sections of Desert Springs Villas as well as to and from the hotel.

There is also a shuttle bus that stops at DSV for transportation back and forth to the music festivals. Check with the concierge for the shuttle bus schedule to the festivals when you arrive.

PLEASE NOTE: This listing has a 4-night minimum occupancy for the 4 "Weekend" nights of Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday - the 15th, 16th, 17th and 18th. Those 4 nights rent out at $520 per night. However, the last 3 nights that we call "Week" nights - Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday - the 19th, 20th and the 21st are available at $125 each in case you wish to extend your stay for a little longer. You can buy just one of those nights or two or all three. No minimum for those 3 nights. Please note, however, those 3 nights are offered for rent at a higher price, hence, our Weekend renters have the first chance until they can get rented out to another group.

The 1-bedroom unit is large with a king-size bed, has its own TV. The unit has a 2-room bathroom with a shower, sink, cabinet and toilet in one room; the other, attached room opens out into the bedroom and has a sink, cabinet and a large whirlpool tub. The living room is nice-sized with a large TV, fireplace and a queen-size pull-out bed. It has a full kitchen with a stove and oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and a large refrigerator, and, of course, utensils, dishes, and all the kitchenware you would expect. And remember, there are outside BBQs everywhere.

The suite also comes with a washer/dryer.

There is a nice, long deck for 2nd-story units or a long, covered patio for 1st-floor units. The patio or deck extend from the bedroom to the living room being accessible from both.

NOTE: We have a beautiful studio unit also available for $1,995 that also sleeps 4. If available, it is possible to join the one-bedroom to the studio unit and make it a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom unit that sleeps 8. Not guaranteed but we will try, if needed. If you do take both, there will be a $100 discount off the total price.

A major super market is located just up the street from the resort entrance.

Desert Springs Villas is a short, under 7 - 10-minute drive to downtown Palm Desert with its many restaurants and chic shops. Many places have nightime dancing.

It is a 20 -25 minute drive down famous Highway 111 to Palm Springs. Then another 20-minute drive to the Casino in Cabazon located next door to a large outlet mall.
