Marriott's Newport Coast Villas - July 11 - 18, 2026

We love vacationing at this resort, and you will, too!

Sipping coffee with a view of the ocean from your private balcony is a magical way to start each day (although the sunsets are nice, too!). Each 1248sf two-bedroom, two-bathroom villa has a fully-equipped kitchen as well as separate living and dining areas. The master suite boasts a king-size bed, an oversized soaking tub, separate shower, and dual sinks. The guest room includes its own full bathroom as well as a queen-size bed, and a double sleeper sofa. With the living room sofa-sleeper, each villa can sleep up to 8 guests. The spacious living space, three TVs, complimentary Wi-Fi access, and in-room washer and dryer, round out the conveniences of home, and the inclusive price (no hotel taxes or resort fees) make this an incredible deal.

Marriott’s Newport Coast Villas resort is set on a bluff above the Pacific Ocean and has three pool areas with five pools—one recently renovated specifically with children in mind—and three large fire pits with seating. We like to sit by the pool and watch the sun set over the ocean, grill something for dinner at one of the many BBQ pits, then roast marshmallows over one of the fire pits to make our own S'mores. Other outdoor activities on the property include sand volleyball, a putting green, a basketball court, tennis/pickleball courts, shuffle board, ping pong, and foosball. There is a casual outdoor bar/restaurant at the main pool and an onsite mini-market/deli, with a full grocery store and restaurants within a 7 minute drive.

There are lots of resort-hosted onsite activities scheduled throughout the day for kids and adults plus indoor areas for kids (a teen room, younger children's activity room, game room, and even a small movie theater). There is a spa onsite for those who preferred to relax or a fitness center for those who want to work out in air-conditioned comfort. In addition, there is a free shuttle service to the beach and shopping.

The beach is a big draw, but the area has lots of other things to explore as well. There is a free shuttle to Crystal Cove state beach, where you can explore tide pools, build sandcastles and play in the surf--or dine/drink at a restaurant right on the beach, and the Pelican Hill golf course is adjacent to the property. Balboa Island is not far, and fun to explore. Disneyland is just 22 miles away (less than a 30 min drive), with Knotts Berry Farm just a little further. We also like to visit the California Science Center in Los Angeles or Hollywood, a little further afield. Or head south for Legoland in Carlsbad or the sites of San Diego (The Zoo or Safari Park, Sea World, Midway Museum, etc.).

For those who want a longer vacation, we also have the weeks of July 18th-15th and July 25th-Aug 1st available, which could be combined with this week to extend your vacation to two or three weeks.

P.S. While you’re at the Marriott site, check out the rental prices to appreciate the value. A full July is not even available through Marriott (it's sold out), but they rent July nights for over $1400 per night, which doesn’t include added taxes and fees!

Full payment is due with contract. We refund 50% up to 60 days before check-in. In the event of an emergency causing a change of plans, we will work with you to rent the villa to another party and refund what we can get less any costs incurred to us.
