The area is renowned for golf and tennis alike, offering several championship courses and multiple tennis courts and facilities. Eco-tours around the island, boat excursions to nearby Pinckney Island National Wildlife Refuge and cruises can also be booked. Outdoor and water recreational activities such as skiing, windsurfing, sailing, fishing and dolphin-watching are popular activities when visiting Hilton Head.

Guests are also invited to take advantage of one hour of complimentary court time at the adjacent Van Der Meer Tennis Academy, and one round of golf for 4 each day at the Shipyard or Port Royal Golf Clubs, does not include golf cart.
