Summit at Massanutten
Free - Summit at Massanutten U/L Floating Lockout Unit that sleeps 12
Due to the recent loss of my FIL it is time to give up our timeshare at the Summit at Massanutten. Our family has enjoyed many trips to Massanutten as well as traded for many vacations to great destinations over the years. We hope that another family will be able to do the same. The unit has plenty of space for your family or friends with upper and lower lockout units that have a total of 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and two kitchens. All units in the Summit had a renovation completed by 2022.If you have never been to Massanutten, the Shenandoah Valley is truly gorgeous. The Massanutten resort has a lot to offer onsite - snow sports, golf, indoor water park, pickleball, tennis, recreation centers, a spa and more. Close proximity to nearby attractions such as Shenandoah National Park (20 min) and James Madison University (20 Min). This Massanutten timeshare is FREE. That's right, it will be gifted free to you. We will pay the tax/filing fee for the quitclaim deed with the county and the resort transfer fee - you will not need to pay any money associated with the transfer of the deed, but you will need to provide notarized signatures on the quit claim deed. Once I file all required documents with Rockingham county you will own the title to the timeshare. The 2026 Maintenance fees have been paid ($1244) and we're in the process of transferring the credit into RCI. Maintenance Fees will not be due until Jan 1, 2027.If you are asking why its free, just do a little research here on TUG. The short answer is, there are yearly maintenance dues. These dues are certainly cheaper than booking lodging for 12 people outright, but my only if you find the time to use it. With our kids grown, we increasingly find ourselves too busy to make good use.
