The Manhattan Club is at 200 West 56th Street, in an excellent Midtown location. You are within easy walking distance of many of the most famous NYC attractions. The hotel itself lists Times Square, Central Park, Rockefeller Center, Carnegie Hall, Broadway, MoMA, and Columbus Circle as nearby. NEVER A NEED FOR A TAXI!!!

Attraction Approx. walk from The Manhattan Club
Carnegie Hall 2 minutes

Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) 10 minutes

NO NEED FOR A TAXI
1. Central Park
You're only a few blocks from the southern end of Central Park. I'd walk over to The Pond, then continue toward Bethesda Terrace and the lake. Central Park is enormous, so you don't need to try to see the whole thing.

2. Rockefeller Center + Top of the Rock
This is one of my favorite choices for a first visit. Top of the Rock gives you an excellent view of Central Park in one direction and the Empire State Building in the other. Rockefeller Center itself is worth seeing even if you don't go up.

3. Times Square
Very close and definitely worth seeing once, particularly after dark. You can combine it with a Broadway show.

4. Broadway
You're practically in the Theater District. If you enjoy theater, this is one of the best locations you could choose.

5. Carnegie Hall
It's literally around the corner. Even if you don't attend a performance, it's worth seeing the historic building.

6. MoMA
About a 10-minute walk. If you enjoy art, this is an exceptionally convenient museum from the Manhattan Club.

7. Fifth Avenue
Walk east from the hotel toward Fifth Avenue and you'll encounter some of the city's most famous shopping and architecture, including Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Tiffany, and Bergdorf Goodman.
