There is a wonderful boardwalk all along the beach that will take you to the Black Rock diving cliffs or you can walk along the sandy beach. The Westin Ka'anapali Ocean Resort Villas North includes a suite which has a larger lanai, a very large private bedroom with Westin's luxurious Heavenly King size bed and bathroom with jetted tub, double sinks, separate rain shower, enclosed toilet for privacy off of the bathroom and room safe. It also has a large living area, an entry closet for extra storage or for the guests sleeping on the queen size hideaway bed in the living room, a big dining area with a large dining table and kitchen bar with granite counter tops and a full size kitchen with a full size oven, microwave, coffee maker, dish washer, dishes, full size refrigerator, cork screw, wine glasses, barbeque utensils, blender, all necessary utensils/pans/plates/glassware/etc. The adjoining studio unit sleeps four (a Heavenly King size bed & a queen size hideaway bed) and has a small half kitchen with appliances, small fridge, stove top, convection/microwave oven, stove top and dishes plus a bathroom with both a rain shower and a jetted tub, private lanai (balcony), adjoining doors that can be locked by either party, room safe, and 2 sets of efficiency washers and dryers. These two adjoining units comfortably sleep up to 8.

Keep in mind that Marriott has First Right of Refusal (FROR) on any resale. Although Marriott will not disclose the price limit that they will purchase (UP TO) on a resale villa and then put back into their inventory for resale at a MUCH, MUCH higher price at the resort, another owner who recently sold stated that Marriott exercised their FROR at $14,500. The bottom line is that the only one who gets a steal on a resale is Marriott. A broker friend of mine said he had seen one go through at $15,000 about one and a half years ago! The purchase contract gets submitted to Westin/Marriott and then they decide if they will buy it at the contract price or allow the sale to go through to the secondary market buyer. Obviously, the goal is to bid just above the price that Marriott will walk away from the resale and allow it to go through to you or you can buy directly from Westin/Marriott for somewhere in the $65,000 plus range! I have been a multiple villa owner for over 15 years and we are not able to travel as much as we used to. We have taken many wonderful family vacations and have been very happy with the resort, the free shuttle service to Lahaina and Whaler's Village and the maintenance and upkeep of the resort for all of these years!
