North end, quiet corner unit on the 4th floor by elevator and stairs, making for impressive beach/pool views and easy access from the parking lot. Resort is located on a wide area of the beach with a short walk to the pier. Fixed week 23 is always around the 2nd week of June and is Saturday to Saturday. We have personally used this for the past 16 years but now find it a little harder for us to travel from Kentucky. We never thought that we’d ever sell because summertime weeks, in large units, at unique resorts like this are so limited and rarely available. Get you summer started with a wonderful trip to Marriott’s Oceanwatch at Grande Dunes. This is an Oceanside Villa located guaranteed to be in either the Scallop of Conch Building, one of the two buildings closest to the beach. This unit is in a quiet location a short car or bike ride from the beach. it has two bedrooms (king bed in one, two twins in the other) and two en-suite bathrooms upstairs with a half bathroom downstairs. It has an outside porch for early morning coffee overlooking a small creek/marsh where we regularly see turtles and alligators. We used to trade it via RCI for skiing/Hawaii, but in the last 10 years we have usually just gone down there for the week. We always rent a beach locker when we get down there and leave our beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards etc. at the beach and then do an easy, flat bike ride along the bike path to get there and back. Shipyard has 27 holes of good golf - course is typically in great shape. From the unit we typically ride our bikes over to shelter island for the fireworks on the 4th The unit is a 5 minute walk from Hilton Head Health - very convenient.
