Activity center for children and adults. Ping pong table, Ukulele lessons, ribbon lei making, tie dyes and many more fun activities for the family! Upon check-in at the front desk, you will be greeted by a friendly "Ohana". She/he will provide your unit keys, WiFi login/password and a daily activities calendar. You will also be asked to provide a credit card for incidentals AND ALSO PAY a daily transient occupancy tax of approximately $20. Resort fees of $30 per day are INCLUDED in this weekly rate.

Pono Kai is a lovely resort in the best location on Kauai. It has beautiful views and is so handy to the 10 mile hiking path along the ocean. Swimming in the ocean is great right in front of the resort. The unit is spacious with a loft with another bed! There is a comfortable queen hide-a-bed in the living room also. There is lots of cupboards and storage space. The resort has pool, tennis courts, mini golf, croquet and lots of barbeques. There is laundry at each building.
We enjoy the location being in the middle of the Eastern side of the island so trips up to Princeville or down to Poipu are not far. It is close to stores and restaurants but away from the street. There is lots of free parking.

Rentals are subject to an additional state tax that varies by unit size. The fee is approximately $14.69/night for studio units.

A housekeeping fee of up to $88 (subject to change) may apply depending on how the reservation was booked.
