I have more resort weeks at Pueblo Bonito Resort and Spas in Cabo San Lucas than I can use due to work, band, and family constraints. Spectacular Resort with world class amenities! Restaurants, spa, gym, pools, tennis, babysitting, satellite TV, wireless internet. This ocean facing suite is on the second floor and has two large balconies (which is rare) with great views. This description applies to Week 8. King bed with 2 baths, Queen sofa sleeper and extra bed. Comfortable and spacious sitting area and and well equipped kitchen with full appliances.
Very close to everything - the marina, Cabo nightlife, galleries, shopping, restaurants and all within walking distance which is not the case for most of Cabo resorts. This is a luxurious resort that arguably is the nicest in the Cabo area. Don't believe me? Check their website and do the virtual tours. They have two world class 18 hole golf courses The Dunes course is ranked #36 course in the world by Golf magazine), a par 3 short course, an amazing fitness facility, and a 10 acre (yes 10 acres) lagoon with an attached MASSIVE hot tub area. Several onsite restaurants or cook in your room with the FULL and spacious kitchen. At 1500 square feet this is not your ordinary 1 BR resort unit. It is spacious, luxurious, and well-appointed. Pending availability I can book any date you want from week 15 through week 45.

NOTE: This resort was designed as a zero tip resort from the beginning so, unlike most resorts, tips are not expected for housekeeping , valet, etc. This is a significant hidden cost that you can avoid by staying at this resort.

We rent our timeshare at the Royal Solaris in Cabo for $300 per week . You can choose any week of the year and your arrival and departure dates can be any day of the week. You can rent two units during the same week if you want to invite family or friends to join you.

Our studio unit has a balcony, with your choice of a king size bed or two double beds, a small kitchenette with a mini-frig that is stocked daily with beer, soda, and water bottles. Each unit has a Murphy bed, so the king size bed units sleep 4 and the two double bed units sleep 6.

You will have to pay for an all-inclusive meal plan for all of your meals and drinks (alcoholic beverages included). There are buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner, but we prefer the sit down meals for dinner. Besides the buffets, there is a poolside grill and a pizza "hut" as well as a swim up bar.

You can get up to 20% discount for paying for the all inclusive in advance. Children 0 - 4 are free with paying adults, children 5 - 16 have a reduced rate.

There are fun activities all day long at the pool. Each evening is a different show in the theater. Don't miss the Mexican night with professional singers, dancers, mariachi band, etc.

Your fee also includes a full day excursion (lunch and drinks included). Possible choices are Todos Santos Tour, Swim With Whale Sharks, Espiritu Santo Island Tour, Camel Ride, Zip Line Tour, Snorkel Tour, and Sunset Cruise. You will be given free transportation to and from the Cabo airport.

I have a MonteCristo Villa in Cabo San Lucas FOR RENT, it is a Float Week, which means the room number is assigned at Checkin. Right now I have it reserved for Sept 8-15, 2023 which I am renting for $2900. I can change the dates of this unit to other dates. The resort charges a fee to change the dates, usually about $300. Email me the dates you need to see if available. I can also split the week into a 3 nights and 4 nights if you need less than a week accommodations.

We give Sunset Beach a 10—simply outstanding. Service is impeccable.

The junior suite is quite adequate for occupancy of two [2 queen beds]—it is spacious; the balcony with ocean view allows for gorgeous views and whale watching; the kitchen with, its full size refrigerator, is quite adequate for cooking in [who needs a full size oven while on vacation?]; there is plenty of closet and drawer space; and the stall shower is large with great water flow. A lighted magnifying cosmetic mirror is useful to have.

The grounds are immaculate with beautiful landscaping, fountains, pond for several swans, and a special area for a half-dozen flamingos. For those inclined to walk/get exercise, it certainly is possible to walk from ocean front to the main building up the hill, using the narrow roadways or the staircases built into the hillside. There are a number of pools, each with its own ambience, from the main pool just off the ocean and beach to the sky top pool. There are book exchanges at a number of the pools, as well as swim-up bars.

The restaurants—there are three, not counting poolside bars and the food hall with a variety of cuisines—offer a variety of interesting dishes at each and span the price range from moderate to expensive. Service at each is excellent. There are a number of themed buffets each week, each with a large variety of dishes to taste.

The activities include cooking demonstrations as well as beer/wine/tequila tasting. Cooking classes are popular and often fill up; the booze classes carry a fee. I recommend signing up for the classes you want right after you check in and have a room number—classes fill up fast. There is an excellent gym with many treadmills and other machines to use.

There is a small grocery store and deli with great baked goods. Prices are somewhat higher on some items than in town, but I think that is to be expected. There is something to be said for the convenience of being able to get basics without having to go into town or to Wal-Mart.

Carts are used at Sunset Beach for on-grounds transport. We have found the cart system well organized with radio dispatch—we have frequently called for a cart from our room and the cart arrived before we could even get out of the room and down the stairs. Drivers were always friendly and helpful and fluent in English. We saw no expectation for a tip each time—there is a box labeled for cart driver tips right at the checkout desk.

There is currency exchange at the front desk with the fair exchange rate of the time, and no service fee.

The free shuttle provides transport into town from 10A to 10P—this can present a problem if one needs to be in town earlier in the morning, and for that there are taxis. The shuttle goes to Pueblo Bonito Rose from where it is an easy walk into town or to the mall and marina. The law prohibits the resort from offering transport anywhere other than between sister resorts—thus avoiding competition with the local taxi drivers. One cannot use the shuttle if carrying luggage or bags of groceries, again the issue of taxi competition. But, other than these limitations, the shuttle provides a way into town and back without the expense of a taxi. And Rose, and its sister resort Blanco [Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos], are right on the lively and swimmable Medano Beach.

Hacienda del Mar Resort & Golf Club in Cabo San Lucas is more than a Gold Crown Resort. With one of the most beautiful beaches in Cabo along with 5 pools, 6 restaurants. The gorgeous Spanish Colonial architecture & beautiful landscaping will make this piece of paradise a memory to last forever!. The staff are more than accommodating and oh so friendly. We've been coming here every year since 1999 and find it's one of the finest vacations ever (we take 4 vacations yearly). The golf course features 18 holes with beautiful ocean views. The Jack Nicklaus and Tom Weiskopf-designed championship course offers a challenging and enjoyable game for players of all levels. The town/marina of Cabo San Lucas is a 5 mile shuttle (or Uber/taxi) ride away. The huge marina has so many great restaurants and shopping, including groceries, one of a kind art galleries/handicraft stores and wine shop. It's easy to book fishing trips, sunset/snorkel trips from the marina or the helpful concierge at HDM. This large Jr. Suite has the most comfortable queen beds (2) and a living area with sofas where kids can sleep. There are 2 concealed large flat screen TVs. The fully stocked kitchenette is more than adequate. We love the fact that the view can be enjoyed from the entire unit, all the way from the combo shower/bath enclosure at one end of the unit.
In December 2023 we are confirmed for an ocean view w/balcony for the week starting Dec. 9, 2023, Saturday to Saturday check in. This is run/managed by Marriott Autograph Collection, need I say more. When here in 2022, we rarely left the resort except for a drive to Cabo Pulmo for the day and the marina night life once. We can snorkel at Hacienda del Mar, Chilano Bay or Santa Margarita a short drive from HDM. Both protected bays are so beautiful and teaming with fish! Optional all inclusive plans can be booked directly though the resort. Access to Elite services including a private butler, room service to Villa, and a private chef is also available for extra cost payable to the resort.

The space: Residences at the Grand Solmar Rancho San Lucas Golf and Spa Penthouse is a beautiful 2 bedroom, 3 bath high end residence. It can accommodate 8 people. The master suite has a king bed with a wonderful ensuite bathroom that feature marble floors and vanities. The jacuzzi tub is a wonderful way to relax at the end of your day in the sun. The 2nd bedroom has 2 full sized beds. There is also a Murphy bed to accommodate 2 additional guests. The 2 additional bathrooms are also designed with marble features. This Penthouse offers and full kitchen and multiple places to enjoy your homemade meals. Penthouse has a large terrace with views of the Pacific. There is a fitness center, multiple pools, a lagoon area for activities, waterslides, kids' club and a spa all onsite. Guests also can access the Greg Noman designed golf course- Solmar Golf Links.

Guest access: You can access all the amenities. You can also access Solmar Golf Links but will have to pay for tee time.

There are several poolside bars/restaurants, a sit-down restaurant, a deli, and a market on site.

There is also an adults only pool/hot tub area..

The penthouse units are not necessarily on the top floor and can be on other floors.
