Number of Points and the frequency: Vacation Club has a great internal exchange program and no fees other than housekeeping if you break up your week into multiple shorter stays. This week can be converted to points, and this is a Platinum Season wk, so this converts to 154 pts (which will give you up to 10 days in silver season, and 2 wks in bronze in the same size unit). You can use the points throughout the year for a few shorter stays if you prefer. We have had no trouble reserving holiday weeks (July 4, New Years, Feb school break, etc) when we call in shortly after the 10 month booking window. Note: We love staying at Shanty Creek. During summer time the vacation club has access to the Summit Village Association Beach Club on Lake Bellaire, Fall is color season, and winter is ski season at Shanty Creek. We own two weeks, our kids are getting older and we are doing more longer trips, so looking to downsize to just 1 week here.
