A 10 minute walk across the parking lot from Palisades Ski Resort in Lake Tahoe - the Olympic Valley lifts, not the Alpine Meadows lifts (formerly Squaw Valley). I've done this a few times in the last few years in the first week of the year after the winter holiday break and it's been an excellent experience every time! This last year, I had guests stay with me and they paid me $700 dollars, to offset the cost of the week.

The week range is not in the winter, but the resort company (Grand Pacific Resorts) will allow you to transfer the week through their exchange Grand Pacific Exchange.
