Unit is a ten minute walk (thru the Village Stroll) to the lifts/Gondolas or short free shuttle ride. Free skier day parking in Blackcomb lots 6, 7, and 8 if you choose to drive.

The full kitchen is handy and saves money - Two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms make this a cost effective option. Grocery store is across the street.
Hotels and other smaller condos are 3 times the cost plus taxes and resort fees for this time period.

We have 2 weeks of Timeshare for sale ($5,000 CAD / week) at Horse Thief Lodge at Panorama Mountain Village. They are weeks 8 and 9 (late February, early March) with a Saturday check in. We have enjoyed having these over the last 30+years. Both are for sale. We are happy to sell 1 week at a time.

However, my daughter has bought a town home in Akiskinook in the Invermere valley and it makes little sense to keep these weeks. Even though they are in unit 616 which is only 40 meters away from the Toby chair lift! This is a GREAT ski in, ski out location.

We loved it, especially with a young family. If the kids got cold, we could simply go in for a hot chocolate, take our boots off and sit in front of the fireplace. Then when they were warmed up, off we would go. No need to get first tracks. No need to get the last run. Any run any time worked.

These townhomes in Horse Thief Lodges are very large and filled with all of the conveniences that you expect and need on a family vacation. We typically would downhill ski one day and then x country ski the next. The town of Invermere and Lake Windrmere are also a great diversion, especially with the Whiteway.

Lake Windermere is the home of the Whiteway, a Guinness World Record holder since 2014. It holds the title as the longest naturally frozen skating trail in the world with 29.8 km of cleared ice.

It is VERY expensive and difficult to get on hill ski in and ski out accommodation. If you want that, then this is a great affordable option. The annual fees are $CAD 1,000 / year. These units are currently renting for $CAD 350 / night during high season (December - March)

The paperwork for providing these weeks to new owners is simplified. There is a $CAD 145 fee for doing the transfer. The weeks are also eligible to be space banked with all of the timeshare companies (RCI, Interval, etc.). That means you can trade these weeks for usage in other timeshares globally.
