We have had Welk timeshares for over 15 years and have enjoyed many stays at Welk resorts. Relocating and different travel plans have limited our use and needs for this timeshare. I do not know why floating weeks are listed as the Welk Platinum points have been available for use any time of the year. The Welk Platinum points have been very flexible for our use. We have stayed at many Welk resorts and have often used partial weeks.

We are selling our unit at High Sierra Lodge- week 37 (September) – unit 2321.

This is a 2nd floor, end-unit in a “U” configuration. Many consider the 2nd floor end units are the best ones- as they feel like they have separate “wings” for 2 parties.

So why are we selling? Because we already have 2 weeks together in August and don’t need this too.

Week 37 was September 16-23 in 2023. We were there and did a video walkthrough so you can see this unit at this time of year. The weather is different every year, but in 2023 highs were in the low-mid 70’s with bright sun. Cool nights, and no crowds. Many locals think September is an ideal time to be in Tahoe. There are bike rentals on site at the Regency, and a private dock at the Regency with boat rentals

The future is bright for this unit and this resort. First, in October, all kitchens are being remodeled with new wood cabinets, new granite, new appliances including a range with induction cooktop, Bosch dishwasher, refrigerator, sink, and garbage disposal. I have included a picture of a completed kitchen. The kitchen in this unit should be complete by June.

As for the resort, the Hyatt Regency is rebuilding its cottages and the Lone Eagle restaurant and will be renovating all rooms. Already a jewel, this is sure to be one of the best resorts on the lake, and it is just steps away from this unit. Several restaurant, evening live music and a tasteful casino are just steps away.
