I am an original deed owner who bought during development in February 1998. Timeshares don't work for me because I don't make travel plans more than three months in advance. But hopefully it works for you if you're reading this post.

This resort isn't on the beach, has no restaurant on site, and although they do have several ADA units, there are generally a fair number of stairs otherwise. You probably won't get the same unit twice when you go, and I don't think I've ever seen my deeded unit. All units at this resort are 2BR/2BA with the exception of a few units with an extra sitting room that I think has a pullout bed. (Hard to get.)

The units all have a kitchen & washer/dryer and although stocked with basic things like plates, bowls, utensils, and a few pots/pans, they have no condiments or foil/ziploc type of stuff. I'm a cook so I have a list of things I take and a basic grocery store list of things to pick up before checking in.

The resort is 20-30 minutes from a variety of world class beaches. We choose our daily trek based on the weather. There's an app for that. We take a soft sided cooler and freeze water bottles to take on our daily adventures along with other food I make. There are a few restaurants in the village, as well as at the Queen's & King's shops ~30 minutes away.

There is a gym, a pool, and a hot tub on site. There are also gas grills sporadically placed throughout the property.

As a buyer of this annual timeshare with Christmas lockout you will be responsible for all transfer fees and maintenance fees are due 12/31/24 for 2025 - I don't know what they will be, but likely $1200-$1300. 2024 fees were either $1106 or $1206. Although current, I don't remember the exact amount.

I'd add on the week for 2024, but today (9/18/24) they said they have no availability in October, November, or December. If you have the ability to plan further in advance, this might be a great fit for you.
