I have owned my timeshare at Chateau Orleans for 39 years and have used it almost every year, trading or renting it out on a few occasions. It is not luxurious but it is comfortable. Major renovations were completed in the last few years and most of the rooms have new furniture. There is a very nice pool and patio area and the same management company has done a great job of managing the property all those years. The big plus is convenience, since you can walk to anywhere in the French Quarter from this location. You can walk to Riverwalk Mall at the foot of Canal Street, the aquarium, the French market, gambling casinos, etc. as well as numerous restaurants. You are two blocks from Canal St. (and street cars), two blocks from Bourbon St. and three blocks from Royal St. where all the antique stores and galleries are. It is a short ride to the New Orleans Museum of Art, the zoo and to the D- Day Museum. Convenient deck parking is one block away. I am open to any interesting exchange beyond those I have listed and have had no problems in the past arranging for larger units within the resort at any time that you require. If your unit for exchange is pet friendly, that's a plus. I'm open to any interesting exchange.

Quarter House is located on Chartres St. between Canal and Iberville, two blocks from the entertainment section of Bourbon Street and walking distance to Jackson Square, Harrah's Casino, the French Market, the riverfront and scores of restaurants, taverns, and entertainment spots.

Quarter House hosts a complimentary contintental breakfast on Sunday mornings and celebrates Fat Tuesday with wine, hors d'oeuvres, and New Orleans cuisine. Both events are in the courtyard and feature live music.

Unit 110 is on the ground floor, a few steps from the serene courtyard. It sleeps up to four but would be better for a couple. The unit has a living/dining area, partial kitchen (no oven), air conditioning, TV, DVD player, built-in safe, and WiFi.

Check in after 4 PM on Friday, May 23; check out before 10 AM on Friday, May 30.

This is a floating week ownership outside of Wyndham and Worldmark, but managed by Wyndham. Nice resort, well situated on the St Charles streetcar. I have thoroughly enjoyed this for years. Bookings are not allowed Mardi Gras and other major events, but most of the year is available for use. One can split a week and go 3 days and then 4 days. Check in is Fri or Sun unless one books a split week, so it has been easy to book any day and just book the 3 days and 4 days consecutively. One bedroom: Accommodations are King bed, Queen sofa bed, kitchenette. This is free. Buyer pays escrow/transfer fees. Use for 2025 available for cost of dues paid, currently booked Nov 17-24.
